Website redesign in Montréal

Your site already exists. It is slow, unreadable on a phone, or you can no longer change anything on it without calling someone. We rebuild it, keeping your addresses, your domain and your email, at a price settled in writing before we start.

Rebuild, or only repair

A redesign is not always the right answer. If your site's structure holds and the problem is cosmetic, a repair costs less and moves faster. We will tell you if that is your case. Here is what actually justifies starting over.

  • Unreadable on a phone Most of your visitors arrive on a phone. A site you have to pinch and drag to read loses the person before they ever call you.
  • Several seconds before anything appears A slow site costs you visitors before it is even seen. We ship with a 90+ mobile PageSpeed commitment on the agreed pages, under the agreed test conditions.
  • You cannot change anything yourself Changing your opening hours or a photo should not require calling someone. Depending on the tier, you leave with an editor you use on your own.
  • Built on a tool nobody maintains An abandoned theme or a plugin that stopped getting updates eventually breaks, and always at the wrong moment.

// how it goes

From your current site to the new one

step 1

We inventory what exists

Your pages, your addresses, what Google already ranks. That list is what keeps the redesign from costing you your search traffic.

step 2

We build on a copy

Never on your live site. It keeps working normally for the whole build.

step 3

You see it before anyone else

A private link, seen by you before your customers. Up to three revision rounds before launch; the one-page build includes one consolidated round.

step 4

We switch when you approve

Old addresses redirect to their equivalent. You keep the code and the access, plus 30 days of fixes for defects in the delivered work.

// how we quote

A written quote, not a price list

We price each project on a short call, once we know the pages, the platform, the features and what is excluded. You get the amount and the delivery date in writing before anything starts, and nothing is added to the invoice afterward. What you charge your client stays your decision; we never see it.

Scope first

Page count, platform, catalogue size, integrations, languages. The quote covers exactly that scope, in writing, so the number you give your client holds.

The price, on a call

Fifteen minutes with the people who build the site. You leave with an amount and a date, both agreed before you commit to your client.

Always included

Checks on phones and computers, a working form or test checkout, every access handed over, and 30 days of fixes for faults in the delivered work. Hosting, domains and subscriptions are separate and disclosed before you agree.

// proof

Work you can open

One client site live today, and a mockup that shows the finish level of a service site.

client

Maison Brut

A site we built that is running today, in French, on its own domain.

mockup

Kitchen renovation

A service-business mockup, so you can judge the finish before ordering.

Before a redesign, check your current site against the Quebec Law 25 website checklist: consent banner, privacy policy, forms and French.

What people ask before a redesign

What does a website redesign cost in Montréal?

It depends on the page count and the platform. A single page rebuilt in custom code is one fixed price; WordPress covers up to five pages, Elementor and Webflow one page or five. The price is settled on a short call and written down before we start. A Shopify store comes in a basic and a premium build, quoted the same way, in Canadian dollars before tax.

Will I lose my Google rankings if I rebuild the site?

Not if the addresses are handled. The real risk in a redesign is old URLs disappearing with no redirect: Google loses the pages it had already ranked. We inventory your existing addresses before touching anything, then redirect them to their equivalent on the new site. What was ranking stays reachable.

Do I keep my domain name and my email?

Yes, both stay yours. The domain remains in your name, on your account. Your email is not affected by a redesign: it runs on records separate from the website's, and we only change what points at the hosting.

Does my current site stay online during the work?

Yes. We build on a copy, never directly on your live site. You get a private link to see the redesign before your customers do. The switch happens only when you approve.

Should I rebuild or just fix the current site?

Fixing is enough when the structure holds and the problem is cosmetic or isolated. A redesign earns its cost when the site is unreadable on a phone, takes several seconds to appear, cannot be edited without help, or was built on a tool nobody maintains any more. If your case is a repair, we will say so; we do not mind losing the job.

Will the site be in English and French?

If you want it to be, yes. French is a working language here, not a translation pass done afterward. A bilingual version uses the same layout and your approved translations.

How long does it take?

The one-page build ships in an agreed 48-hour slot, once content, access and deposit are ready. For the other tiers, the date is written into your quote before work starts. We do not give a vague range: it is a date, in writing.

Is Quebec's Law 25 handled?

Yes, by default. The consent banner is built the way the law requires: analytics only on explicit consent, French first, and refusing exactly as easy as accepting. You do not have to go back over our work.
